Please read this WHOLE page carefully - it is important that you select appropriate frames for varifocal fitting, and that they are measured correctly on your face. We are here to help.
Not all frames are suitable for Varifocal Lenses. By the nature of their design, the lenses must enough space (depth) in the lens field to be able to gradiate correctly and comfortably for the wearer.
While this is of course still somewhat a matter of choice, in general it is true that "mid size" frames are better suited to this type of lens than very "thin" style glasses
Let us know which frame(s) you are interested in. We will confirm to you whether or not they are appropriate for varifocal glazing. You may contact us HERE
Assuming the frame is appropriate, we will let you know the cost. This is normally the standard frame price plus £55 for the varifocal option.
You will place the order with us over the telephone.
We will then send you the frame you have selected with a calibration sticker on the dummy lens.
Once you receive the frame, please have a phot taken of you wearing it and return the frame back to us.
We will then make you glasses, taking all the relevant measurement detail from the photo you have provided, and send them out to you.
This is a tried and tested system that we have used for some time now. We send some simple instructions out with the frame so no need to remember all this right now! And we're always at the end of the phone if you need us!Call : 0151 632 6612
